To better serve our students, alumni and other colleagues, the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine career services web site has a new look with new and expanded services. Together with the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical and many other professional organizations, we are now participating in the Veterinary Career Network (VCN). The VCN is a network of associations, schools and colleges of veterinary medicine, dedicated to providing electronic recruitment services to the veterinary medical and animal health industries.
Those POSTING JOB OPPORTUNITIES who elect to send their listing to the entire VCN will incur the standard VCN job posting fee. However, job postings visible only to University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical students and staff are still free of charge.
Those SEEKING EMPLOYMENT now have the added-value of posting their resume online on the CVMBS career services web site, and across the VCN in a single step. Plus the added value of viewing job listings available on the UMCVM's site and across the VCN in a single search.
