Advanced Pet Care of Northern Nevada is a compassionate small animal practice located in Sparks, NV. We offer acupuncture and orthopedic surgery in addition to preventative care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, in house laboratory, ultrasound, and digital radiography. We offer grooming, boarding, and daycare, too.
We currently have 2 full time and 1 part time veterinarians. The doctors have designated surgery days, with 30 minute appointments during the remaining scheduled time. There are 2 emergency hospitals in Reno, so we do not have on call shifts. Our medical support staff is excellent with a good mix of experience levels.
Sparks, NV is located 40 minutes north of Lake Tahoe, adjacent to Reno. Opportunities to enjoy the beautiful mountains and lakes are plentiful. Skiing and snowshoeing are popular during the winter, while hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and paddle boarding are popular during the summer. This is a booming region for coffee shops, craft breweries, food trucks, art, and music.
Our ideal candidate will have experience or interest in ultrasound and/or surgery. All applicants, new graduates and experienced veterinarians, will be considered. Nevada Veterinary license and DEA license are required. USDA accreditation is preferred.

Additionally, we offer daycare, boarding, and grooming. We take pride in the quality care provided to our patients.
