A picture is worth a thousand words so Take a look around Bloomington. click: link to photos of Bloomington. As you can see, Bloomington is a modern, thriving city that has earned its reputation as a wonderful place to live. Bloomington has the charm of small town life and at the same time offers many Big City pleasures like a world-class opera theater, touring Broadway shows, and Big Ten athletic events. For nature lovers: three lakes, two state forests, three nearby state parks and a National Forest surround the Bloomington community. We are a profitable growing three and a half veterinarian practice. Good work-life balance is an important value of our practice. We do not just say that. Our schedule is 4 days on and 3 days off. There is real camaraderie and collaboration between doctors and staff. People really like each other. Recently, the wife on a male veterinarian had a baby and HE was on maternity leave for two weeks. Everyone pitched in to cover his extra hours. The same is true on the technician side. Another value we hold dear is mentoring new graduates; all our staff really enjoys teaching to make your experience valuable and comfortable. No rush here. We take the time we need to carefully work up cases. Each veterinarian has their own dedicated highly trained technician. One of the key contributors to our highly efficient and effective operation is our organized and forward thinking hospital manager; he helps creates a sense of calm and efficiency throughout the facility. Education is a key value of the hospital. We stress ongoing education to all our staff. Equipment includes: ultrasound, digital whole body x-ray, endoscopy, anesthesia monitoring equipment, etc. Qualifications: We are seeking passionate, positive, dependable veterinarians with a couple of years experience (but we are open to strong new graduates as well) with an interest in soft tissue surgery, dentals, diagnosing interesting cases and real collaboration with all the staff. Compensation: we are very flexible, six figures is possible, 20% production, $300 mo/insurance, $2500 CE, Simple IRA with 3% match, 10 day vacation. If interested, please send your resume to Victoria Travis, MS at email@example.com and call 720-535-6433. Please know, all inquires are confidential.
For the past 15 years, I’ve placed veterinarians and hospital managers with the top 20% of veterinary practices. As both an independent veterinarian recruiter and career/life coach, I bring additional expertise to you to support your job search. Recently, one of my veterinarian candidates said, "as an independent recruiter, you are like an impartial third party. I feel I can get the real story a...bout the practices from you!"
For you the practice owner, I am able to increase employee retention due to a unique program based on both my expertise in coaching and recruiting. It's called the Candidate Retention Program. It helps you, the owner, maintain your high level of clinical excellence and customer service, gives you that competitive advantage in the market place and most importantly, keep staff. I find exceptional veterinarian candidates who are self-motivated, flexible, competent and passionate about veterinary medicine.
