Feline only—full or part-time position available for associate veterinarian at established practice in Norwalk, 50 miles from Manhattan on the Connecticut shoreline. We have created a modern, 5000 square foot facility that is dedicated completely to cats. We are AAHA accredited with paperless records, DR digital radiology, CBC, chemistry, electrolytes, oxygen cage, endoscope, video otoscope, color doppler ultrasound, Dentalaire dental station, digital dental radiology, Bair Hugger, Parks Doppler, Bionet anesthesia monitors and Heska IV pumps.
We believe that veterinary medicine is not only about taking care of animals but making a difference in pet owners lives. Our team oriented approach with friendly and capable support staff allows vets time to practice medicine, not tech work. In town there is a 24 hour emergency and referral center which provides a continuous source for learning and fully working up cases. If desired the work schedule can be modified to include canine care at our nearby partner facility that mainly cares for dogs.
The annual salary 85-105K guaranteed base plus additional production based compensation and excellent benefits including 401K, medical/dental/vision and a generous continuing education stipend. Happy associates, quality of life, and long term relationships are strongly encouraged. Contact Dr. Dave Santisi, www.acatsplace.com.
In order to provide a better experience for our feline patients, A Cat's Place Veterinary Hospital branched off of Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital in 1997. Unable to expand at our original location to meet the growing demand, we moved to our current facility in 2011. The new hospital was custom designed using an engineering firm completely devoted to building animal care facilities.
Our attent...ion continues to focus on connecting with our clients and providing the highest level of care for their pets. Our veterinarians are given autonomy to diagnose and treat patients as they see fit. At the same time we are glad to be available to consult or lend a hand with challenging medical or surgical cases. Our goal is to continue to offer the most advanced patient care and equipment while strengthening the bond between our veterinarians, hospital staff, and clients.
