We are a well-established, AAHA accredited, veterinary practice situated in Davidson, NC. We focus on nurturing the Human Animal Bond and establishing productive relationships with our clients to provide the best possible medical care for their pets.
The right practice manager will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the hospital supporting the medical team’s delivery of the highest quality veterinary care. Opportunities to impact staff, clients and patients include:
· Personnel: plan optimal staffing; recruit, interview, hire and supervise support staff; assure team is properly trained; ensure compliance with regulatory agencies; mediate personnel problems, maintain employee motivation, and structure continuing education for support staff
· Patient/Client Production: Evaluate appointment scheduling, staffing, training and team leverage to achieve optimal client satisfaction; develop and monitor a hospital marketing program; oversee building and equipment maintenance and housekeeping standards
· Financial: develop budgeting estimates; advise on the allocation of funds for medical and non-medical equipment and supplies; develop and advise on the formulation and development of corrective actions necessary to improve the effectiveness and profitability of the practice; review various analytical reports and financial statements (P&L) for trends and bring to the attention of Hospital Director and COO any apparent financial problems and make recommendations for correction and adjustments; submit invoices to Accounts Payable for timely payment; establish and maintain inventory control system; assure adequate stock of supplies are available; manage supply activities; rectify financial issues that arise between practice and clients; use a variety of methods in the collection of delinquent accounts.
