Animal Clinic of Forsyth is searching for a skilled and efficient Associate Veterinarian to join our team full or part-time. We are a busy, rapidly growing, mixed animal practice that was opened as a secondary location in June 2017. Our sister clinic, Animal Clinic of Ava, has been serving Douglas County and the surrounding areas since 2009. As a unified team, we are joyfully committed to providing excellent, honest and progressive veterinary care, while delivering a personal and empathetic customer service experience.
Client relationships are priority as we emphasize education and custom tailor treatments and medicine to fit the needs of a wide variety of clientele. Our community’s response is rewarding and humbling as we are currently averaging around 150-200 new clients per month. Everyone on staff is a team player and is committed to education, hard work and each other, and are passionate in their career field. The equipment we provide is progressive and up to date, making available the right tools for our doctors and support staff to be successful in their career and professional skills.
We are looking for a small or mixed animal veterinarian who enjoys the challenges of a busy small animal caseload but who may also possess skills in equine, food animal and ruminant ambulatory calls and haul-in work; a self-motivated individual who is an honest team player and thrives in a high volume environment. This veterinarian's strength in communication will be utilized by engaging with the community through educational conversations in clinic, consulting on the farms or in the homes of clients, and through the avenues of the practice's outreach and educational services and events. This doctor's surgery skills will be sharpened with practice in both routine and specialized options and his/her medicine refined through interesting and unusual cases daily. The ideal candidate will be excited to receive plenty of paid time off, enjoy weekly three-day or four-day weekends, with potential to earn commissions on clinic generated revenues and pay per emergencies if interested in a mixed animal, full-time position! Salary and benefits are competitive, and family and personal time are paramount. Saturday scheduling is pivotal to this position and would be required, everything else is negotiable!

Additional Salary Information: Varies depending on schedule, emergency rotation or no emergency, species of animals willing to work, and experience level.
We are a full service, true mixed animal practice; consisting of about 50% companion animal, 15% equine and 35% food animal, mostly beef herds. The only mixed animal practice in the county, we remain open 6 days a week and offer emergency availability. Our small animal clinic is brand new and fully equipped, and our exclusive large animal facility offers all services in house. Client base continue...s to grow, as does our supportive staff.
