Title: Veterinarian Coastal Veterinary Clinic/Coastal Animal Rescue Appointment: Full time Proposed Start Date: ASAP Free living arrangements for up to three months
We are a busy small animal practice located along the beautiful South Carolina coast between Myrtle Beach and Charleston. We are looking to add a full-time veterinarian to our existing staff to be our lead veterinarian, The practice is a fast-paced, high volume clinic that provides fairly priced medical and surgery services. We try to keep costs low to help those with limited budgets while still providing quality medicine. We use balanced anesthesia, sell top-shelf flea/tick and heartworm preventions and prescription diets, offer referrals for special needs cases, and manage those that cannot afford those specialty services. Above all, we try to provide good quality care, communication, and education to our clients.
The clinic was started 7 years ago to provide veterinary care and funding for a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill, animal rescue on the same property. The clinic has x-ray, pulse-ox, dentistry, ultrasound, In House Blood Equipment, etc.
We are looking for someone who would enjoy seeing client appointments and performing surgeries. A great bedside manner and excellent communication skills are a must. A sense of humor and calm attitude will be of great benefit as well. Any experience level considered. New graduates welcome.
The practice is minutes away from the beach in a warm sunny climate with many recreational activities in the area and a very affordable cost of living.

Required Qualifications: Doctorate of veterinary medicine and an ability to get a South Carolina license to practice veterinary medicine and a controlled drug license.
