AAHA accredited veterinary hospital located in the suburbs of Philadelphia seeks an experienced Veterinarian with excellent clinical and surgical skills.
The Women’s Humane Society Veterinary Hospital and Animal Shelter is expanding our practice especially in the area of surgical services. Our general practice treats family owned pets in the community as well as animals that enter our shelter. We are a full service practice equipped with digital radiography, a multi-table surgical suite, state of the art in house diagnostic equipment, five spacious exam rooms, and an experienced support staff. Services we offer include routine to specialty surgery including aesculight laser surgery, dental prophylaxis and oral surgery, chronic disease management, preventative care, and physical therapy. Our hospital is by appointment only, with same-day sick availability.
We seek a dedicated, caring and compassionate individual with excellent technical, diagnostic, clinical and surgical skills as well as a natural ability to relate to our patients, clients and staff.
Candidates must have a strong desire to practice high quality veterinary surgery and medicine in a busy and collegial atmosphere. A desire to maintain a well-rounded caseload and work with a team of veterinarians and technicians to expand our services and ensure the well-being of pets in our community is essential.
A minimum of 3 years of surgery and practice medicine experience is required;
