Associate Equine Veterinarian
Town & Country Veterinary Service
We are looking for an associate equine veterinarian to join our practice. We are mostly a sports medicine practice servicing the show, pleasure and performance horse communities. The practice has state of the art equipment with digital ultrasound, radiography, endoscopy and in house laboratory equipment. We also treat a smaller population of small ruminants and Camelids. We are strictly an ambulatory general medicine practice with some in field surgery performed. Another major focus of the practice is dentistry. A rotating on call schedule provides our clients with 24/7 coverage. Salary would be commensurate with experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, dues and licensures, as well as CE. In addition, the associate will be eligible for contributions for a retirement plan.

The new associate will need to provide general medicine, lameness evaluation, dental and emergency care for a large equine show, performance and pleasure horse population. Also, some small ruminant and Camelid medicine coverage is required. The associate must be hard working, dedicated and willing to take part in the demanding culture of equine medicine. The practice owner has been practicing for 30 years and is willing to mentor and provide support to the new associate as needed. |
Additional Salary Information: Base salary commensurate with experience. The base salary is complemented with a percentage of production.
