To be very blunt about job requirements - Individuals that have no education or no experience as a veterinary assistant need not apply. Just being able to give medications to your pet and loving animals is not experienced enough. We do not train individuals with no experience to make them experienced, we need people that have a minimum of veterinary assistant skills before we will hire them.
Veterinary Technicians must be registered and experienced or an experienced Vet Assistant and in school to become an RVT before we will consider hiring them as an RVT or RVT candidate.

Our Company Philosophy is patterned after the Mayo Clinic's moto of "the needs of the patient come first". In our case our patients are pets with owners. In many cases pets are considered children in their owner's eyes. That makes them parents, which in turn makes us pediatricians with a special calling to care for furry children that can't talk or show us where they hurt.
