The online ad has plenty of details of what the job entails however a job description can be provided if requested and any questions about job duties can be answered during an interview. To be very blunt about job requirements - Individuals that have no education or no experience as a veterinary assistant need not apply. Just being able to give medications to your pet and loving animals is not experienced enough. We do not train individuals with no experience to make them experienced, we need people that have a minimum of veterinary assistant skills before we will hire them. Veterinary Technicians must be registered and experienced or an experienced Vet Assistant and in school to become an RVT before we will consider hiring them as an RVT or RVT candidate. |
Additional Salary Information: Salary is based on experience, position, and type of shift (ER shift gets higher pay). Excellent benefits after 90 day probation period where the individual hired gets to prove they have what it takes to work in a friendly, high tech veterinary hospital. Additional information will be provided at interview.
