About West Branch Veterinary Services
West Branch Veterinary Services is a companion animal practice surrounded by the forests, rivers, and lakes of northern Michigan and located less than an hour on I-75 from the urban conveniences of the Tri-City area. Truly we have been blessed by being able to live in this amazing area where so many flock to vacation while still having all the amenities of suburbia nearby. in return, we provide our community with an unparalleled level of customer service and offer our patients an ever-evolving and expanding level of care. Our staff is a blend of both experienced long-term members and energetic younger members, but all are dedicated 110% to our doctors, patients, clients, and the WBVS mission. We believe healthcare is a team sport, and every member of that team plays a critical role including the pet owner. We foster this team approach by dealing with all clients in a compassionate manner and focusing upon education from the time of initial contact on the phone, through the entire appointment process, and then even after our patients/clients have gone home.Clientele and caseload is about as diverse as one can find. Everyday we see pets from old local farm families, vacationers, reti...rees that live here after fleeing the city, working folks and professionals. General practices' typical fare of wellness exams, vaccines, and surgical sterilizations definitely make up a portion of each day; however, the volume of non-routine medical and surgical cases often far outweighs the routine as word of our level of care and capabilities has spread throughout northern Michigan.
