The Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island Referral & Emergency Hospital is recruiting a second Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist. As a referral & critical care facility, the foundation of our reputation and success has been based on a team focused approach to veterinary specialty medicine, combined with a high regard for our referral relationships within the community. Our hospital offers 24/7 emergency and critical care and provides specialty services consisting of Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Critical Care, Oncology, Dermatology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Avian & Exotics, Neurology, and Physical Rehabilitation. The hospital is equipped with state of the art monitoring equipment including but not limited to; wireless telemetry and capnography. Additionally, we have a full complement of diagnostic modalities which includes; multiple In-house laboratories, digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, MRI, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, Minimally Invasive surgery and arthroscopy.

The ideal candidate will also possess the leadership qualities necessary to mentor and educate our enthusiastic interns and emergency clinicians combined with a large group of well-educated and highly experienced Licensed Technicians and other paraprofessionals.
