We are looking to expand our established small animal housecall practice (serving the Chicagoland suburbs since 2007) and add a part-time to full-time veterinarian, with or without buy-in potential, to our team as well as support staff. Enjoy the fresh air, a flexible schedule, and an exceptional clientele who treats their VET and pets like family. Every day is different, but providing in-home veterinary care is rewarding in a way that practicing medicine in a clinic is not. We provide wellness services and preventative medicine, laboratory testing (IDEXX and ANTECH), blood pressure monitoring, nutritional and behavioral consultations, internal medicine and dermatological treatment, geriatric care, pain management, telemedicine, as well as hospice and euthanasia services. Imaging is available to our patients through a third-party partner and records are maintained in a cloud-based management system. Compensation is negotiable and can be ProSal or hourly. Must have a reliable vehicle. If you enjoy building strong client relationships, are compassionate, collaborative, want to experience a superior quality of life and provide the ultimate in convenient, holistic, fear-free pet care, join us!
Part-time to full-time hours available
Minimum 1 year clinical experience
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: ProSal or Hourly rate considered, buy-in potential for the right person
About The Welcome Waggin' Mobile Veterinary Service
The Welcome Waggin' was founded by Dr. Lisa McIntyre in 2007 with the goal of providing exceptional care and service in the pet's home environment. By minimizing the stress of travel, reducing the likelihood of disease transmission, and observing pets in their natural surroundings, we are able to help maintain patients' optimal health and well-being. Home veterinary care is ideally suited for working professionals, busy parents, multiple pet owners, the elderly or disabled, and owners of animals that become anxious in a hospital setting. We utilize telemedicine resources, an online and mobile pharmacy, IDEXX and Antech labs, as well as other partners in pet care to help our clients in the comfort of their home. Currently, we serve most Chcicagoland suburbs and also provide end-of-life services.
