| The Washington State University (WSU) Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS) seeks to fill two clinical or tenure-track, full-time, 12-month, renewable positions within the Emergency and Critical Care section of its Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The positions are available at all ranks, depending upon qualifications, and are available immediately. The positions will join a team whose primary mission will be clinical teaching, clinical service and scholarship. For those with interest in a clinical-track position, depending upon research background and experience, there may be an opportunity to negotiate conversion to a tenure-track position within three (3) years in rank, subject to university policy. The successful applicants will have responsibility for participation in clinical service; clinical, laboratory, and didactic (classroom) teaching of professional veterinary students, interns, residents, and graduate students; will provide health care and service to patients of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital; will advise and consult with referring veterinarians and clients; will develop a creative, independent and/or collaborative research program in an area related to Emergency and Critical Care; will be in direct support of an Emergency and Critical Care residency program; and will provide leadership in directing research projects for residents and graduate students.
