Animal Haven Veterinary Center is a privately-owned small animal practice seeking an enthusiastic associate veterinarian dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to both the pet and pet-parent. New graduates gladly considered! We are a 1 and 1/2 doctor facility looking to add an associate to our team. We are well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, class IV therapy laser, Digitherm diagnostics, in-house stem cell therapy capabilities, surgical laser, ultrasonic dental machine with drill, fluid pumps, tonopen, and complete in house Idexx diagnostics. Our priority is delivering quality care and client education that enables an excellent working relationship with pet parents, focusing on the needs and well-being of each patient. This technology combined with dedication and commitment to our patients allows thorough work-up of cases and allows us to find fulfillment in our chosen career! Eventual buy-in/buy out is a possibility for a candidate desiring this opportunity! Licensure in good standing in Delaware Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and developing a rapport with all patients and their owners. Ability to perform comprehensive physical exams for all patient ages, breeds, and ailments. Dedication to comprehensive preventative care standards as well as diagnostic and treatment plans of care. Desire to cultivate positive relationships with customers, patients and staff. Ability to maintain excellent medical and surgical records through established protocols and industry-typical standard operating procedures. Desire and general ability to simply find joy in the experience of daily life in which we work as a trusted veterinary professional. Evening and Saturday availability. Skills and characteristics of a successful Animal Haven Veterinary Center team member include: a love of pets and their parents; strong desire to learn; confidence in skills; ability to continually learn and grow; solid diagnostic, technical, and integrative skills; love of and desire to be a general practitioner offering and performing both medical and surgical treatments; team player willing to share and enhance skills and knowledge; excellent communications skills (both verbal and written with clients and fellow team members.
