Clarendon Animal Care is a seven doctor AAHA-accredited general practice in the heart of Arlington, VA and we're about to have a second location. We have a phenomenal support staff that includes 4 LVTs; an experienced assistant staff that is truly there to assist; a great client base (seriously, we actually see compliance); pride ourselves on practicing exceptional medicine with a strong focus on client education (we like to think THIS is why we see compliance). We're a positive workplace and would like to compliment our current staff with a friendly, enthusiastic full-time associate who has strong medical and surgical skills, as well as exceptional client and interpersonal communication skills. We are looking for someone who loves what they do and enjoys the client/patient/veterinary relationship. Internship or 5+ years experience ideal. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in Virginia
Must be great with clients, and have ability to form lasting relationships
Value enhancement of the human animal bond and a veterinary-client-patient TEAM attitude
The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
Must value and respect all team members
Must enjoy educating staff and clients as well as have a strong desire to personally develop and improve clinical and communication skills
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
