About Shireman Veterinary Clinic, LTD
Shireman Veterinary Clinic, LTD is a mixed animal practice located in Richland Center, Wisconsin. There are three full time veterinarians on staff, two owners and one associate. The practice is 60% small animal and 40% large animal. The small animals are dogs and cats with an occasional rabbit or pocket pet. The large animals are dairy and beef cattle. A few horses and small ruminants are also seen.
The practice is fully computerized using Impromed software. We currently use digital radiography and are looking to acquire a dedicated ultrasound unit for the small animal work. Portable ultrasound units are used for large animal reproductive work. All large animal work is done on the farm. There is also a sale barn in Richland Center where we do some work. The sale barn work involves writing health papers for interstate shipment as well as doing some procedures such as reproductive exams, vaccinations, castrations, dehorning and implants.
