| We are looking for a full time Licensed Veterinary technician to join our team in beautiful Mt Vernon. We currently have 2 LVTs, and three veterinary assistants. We are adding a 3rd full time veterinarian this summer. We have digital radiology (including dental), 2 surgical suites. In house lab (Iddexx) , computerized records. Prestige Dentalaire dental machine., ultrasound, etc. We are a general practice, with a much diversified case load. We have a 24 hour emergency clinic in town, so we don’t require after hour shifts. The position would include, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, blood draw, catheter placements, monitoring hospitalized patients, assisting the doctor with exams and client education. There will be some reception duties depending on the need . The hours are flexible and we try to adapt to having a comfortable work, home balance.
