| JOB Full-time veterinarian for mixed animal / companion animal predominant practice in beautiful, small-town, northwest GA. Mixed animal experience with dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and some small ruminant and swine experience is preferred, but all experience and interest levels considered. An applicant with a special interest in herd health for everything from hobby-sized farms to large cow-calf operations would be ideal. 4 to 4.5 day/wk schedule, with every other week emergency (farm animal only - small animal after hours are referred to e-clinic); approx 25mi service radius. Buy-in option available for the right fit. Good client communication skills are a must. One co-owner, retired; the other co-owner has worked at MCVS for 15 years. Multi-year veterinary assistants on-staff (8 staff total). Plans for renovation stalled by COVID, but hopefully getting restarted within a couple of years. Full suite of IDEXX equipment on-site; also digital in-house and mobile x-ray; cold laser; power-float; BSE equipment; intrauma orthopedic plating system.
