Premier VetCare, a privately owned veterinary hospital located in Smyrna, is seeking resumes for Full Time or Part Time Associate Veterinary Position. Practice offers complete veterinary care to its clients, to include orthopedic and advanced soft tissue procedures. The practice offers the best veterinary medicine has to offer, but works with the client to allow them to provide their pets the best care they can afford. We do not board or groom, we practice only medicine and surgery. We are a paperless practice with digital radiography, ultrasound, computers in 7 exam rooms, wireless surgical monitor, electrocautery, CO2 surgical LASER, full in-house lab and more. Currently expanding the practice with a new surgical center with 4 additional exam rooms. Staff is trained to help DVMs with routine sample collection, reporting, and client communication. Staff to DVM ratio of 4/5:1 Our practice has several emergency and specialty practices in the area to help support our client’s needs. But our practice is equipped and experienced to assist clients that may not be able to afford specialty care. We challenge our doctors to grow and support them with solid mentorship and opportunity to take on those exciting challenging cases. Interested applicants must have the heart of a teacher. Must enjoy teaching our owners about the importance of wellness care, dental care, and in the health issues their pet may have in order to create an effective team with the owner. The DVM team is dedicated to mentoring, so new or recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Premier VetCare is already supported by several DVMs with general, advanced, and orthopedic surgery interest and experience, so though surgical interest is a plus, there is room for a medicine only interested individual. Also room to expand the practice with a DVM with Exotic interest as well. Practice pays DVMs on a Pro-Salary basis, so motivated DVMs are rewarded financially. Current DVM staff earn between $90,000-$145,000 per year, that puts or doctors in the top 25% of income in Tennessee. 5 day work week M-F, hospital is closed Saturday and Sunday.
