Mt Spokane Veterinary Hospital is located in the beautiful Inland Pacific Northwest, close to downtown Spokane and in a lovely rural setting. Spokane is the second largest city in WA state and still has that wonderful small city feel. Housing prices are low, there is a slower pace of life, good schools and an abundance of outdoor and nature activities.
We are a busy five doctor mixed practice that sees 80% small animals and 20% exotics and large animals. We have been growing at a steady rate and are looking for a new associate veterinarian that either wishes to practice mixed practice or would like to concentrate on small animal and exotic species. Quality medicine, compassionate care and a great work environment are very important to us.
We are a full service veterinary practice providing orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, small animal reproductive services and complete dental care with dental radiography. We offer house calls for small animals and ambulatory services for large.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a great work ethic and focus on customer service and quality care. We welcome all candidates willing to work with us to meet our practice goals regardless of experience level, both part time or full time are available options.
We have a flexible schedule with full time doctors receiving one regular weekday off each week. There is no on-call hours associated with this position. We are a non-corporate family owned facility. Salary is payed on ProSal basis above industry standards with no negative accrual, and is based on experience and abilities. The position offers health, dental and vision insurance, paid CE, association and licensing dues, vacation, liability insurance, and retirement savings.
