Healthy Paws Veterinary Center, located in Little Elm/Frisco, TX, is seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our dedicated staff. We are open to both new graduates as well as experienced veterinarians. Healthy Paws aspires to have a team that makes a positive impact on pet health care in and outside of the clinic.

As a Healthy Paws veterinarian, you will enjoy:
Competitive salary with a sign-on bonus. The compensation package includes base salary plus a production bonus
Doctor hours 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (4 weekdays only if work Saturday)
Rotating Saturdays of 8am-12pm (usually every 3 weeks)

As a clinic we offer preventive medicine that includes but is not limited to routine check-ups and vaccinations, as well as complex medical or surgical cases. Our facility is equipped with an in-house pharmacy, digital radiology and dental radiology, in-house diagnostic lab as well as an outside reference lab. We offer a wide range of surgery options to our clients but also maintain a great working relationship with referral clinics.

Essential Duties and Functions:
Veterinary Medical Care
Coordinate and implement medical and general care protocols for the health and well-being of patients in accordance to state practice act and principles of veterinary medical ethics
Contribute to the pursuit of education to deliver quality patient care with evidence-based medicine
Assess animal health using current diagnostic methods and devote yourself to the culture of preventive care
Deliver medical and surgical cases and develop treatment plans for patients with varying degrees of medical complexity
Maintain comprehensive medical records with support of practice systems, including the latest Cornerstone database
Partner with clients, to ensure the best treatment plan for each patient, provide home-care instructions, and offer client education to ensure the health of their pets
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
State Veterinary Board License in good standing to practice in the State of Texas
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and creating an exemplary client experience
Professional appearance with advanced interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
