Looking for a full-time Chief of Staff candidate for our hospital in Nashville, TN. We are a very successful practice with a 20+ year legacy. It's an exciting time for our hospital, as we are slated for a brand new, ground-up construction in 2021. In the meantime, we are upgrading our technology, (paperless, cloud-based practice management software, tablets) and equipment (dental x-ray, IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, etc), all designed to capture a younger, tech-enabled and family-centric audience.

The primary responsibilities of the Chief of Staff are to lead our team effectively with the help of our practice manager, to practice high-quality veterinary care, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and a dedication to continuing education and development of the entire team. Ideal qualities include being personable, confident, hardworking, and dedicated to high-quality companion animal general practice (internal medicine and general surgery).

Skills and Basic Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent from an accredited university
Tennessee license in good standing or eligible for licensure in Tennessee
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
The ability to delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members
Demonstrates excellent time and task management
Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients
Strong relationship building skills
