- One on One Mentorship:
- Specifically designed to enhance university education and ready newly graduated veterinarians for practicing medicine independently
- Typically the duration is 6 months from June to December. Variations are available to new veterinarians with alternate graduation dates.
- Partnership with Local Animal Shelters (first 30 days):
- Assist with spays and neuters and soft tissue surgery for shelter animals.
- Mentees gain necessary surgery experience by providing much-needed care to animals residing in the shelter.
- Additional Support for Overnight Emergency Doctor’s:
- Overnight newly-graduated veterinarians are also supported with an additional three months?of structured on-call support from seasoned veterinarians who will assist with challenging cases

Night ER schedules are generally 4 shifts on, and then 6-7 days off; day emergency shifts may vary, but still offer longer periods of off days. ?Day ER schedules vary, with a balance between our veterinarians' availability and hospital needs.
