Our Fairview Hospital for Animals is searching for an experienced, full-time Veterinarian with an interest in surgery, dentistry, ultrasonography and a short-term goal of running their own practice. Over the next two years as an Associate DVM you will be training, getting to know the business and becoming comfortable as a JV Owner. Fairview is located in Decatur, IL and has served the community for seventy years, thirty under the current ownership in a recently constructed facility. We offer a wide range of services for pets including wellness care, vaccinations, dentistry, ophthalmology, digital radiology, laser therapy and surgery. We are a progressive practice and are open to expanding our services for doctors with an interest in exotics, acupuncture or other areas of interest. Decatur, a town of 72,000 people is located in central Illinois between Springfield and Champaign and is home to a small liberal arts university. We are a short one mile from beautiful Lake Decatur. We offer an excellent schedule – Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., no Sundays or Holidays. On-call is only 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, most needs can be handled from home versus coming in to the hospital.
