Associate Veterinarian

Sonoran Veterinary Center located on Tucson’s East side is seeking a full or part-time associate veterinarian to join our team. Established in 2016, we continue to high growth. We see a wide variety of species with approximately 50% avian/exotics and 50% canine/feline caseload. We place a strong emphasis on building relationships with our clients and patients through preventive care, client education, and complete case work-ups. We see a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental cases. Our equipment is tailored to providing the highest level of care to our patients and includes digital radiography and dental radiography, rigid endoscopy, electrosurgical equipment, and specialized equipment for our avian and exotic patients. We also have access to ultrasonography and a board-certified surgeon. Several specialists are available for referral in the Tucson area as well. We are a paperless practice with cloud-based veterinary management software and are beginning to integrate artificial intelligence support tools. We are currently opened Tuesday through Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8-12pm with no on-call or emergency duties. Continued learning, integration of new ideas, and publication is encouraged.
