Business Development Operations Specialist

The Business Development Operations Specialist is an entry-level role that will assist the Business Development Team in facilitating the acquisition of new business. Our work environment is fast-paced and collaborative; it requires someone who can roll up their sleeves and be a team player. Responsibilities:

• Input a high volume of financial data into Microsoft Excel
• Analyze financial data of prospective acquisitions
• Conduct research and mine data to maintain our internal databases
• Conduct outbound cold calls to support Business Development efforts
• Develop a rapport with selling business owners and assist with scheduling in person meetings for the field team
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, copying, and scanning
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Associates, Bachelor’s degree, or near graduation
• Good phone etiquette and relationship building skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency is required
• Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Must be highly motivated self-starter
• 1-2 years of professional experience preferred but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner is essential
• Interest in Business Development
