Folsom Veterinary Hospital has served the Folsom and greater Sacramento, CA area for over 40 years. Actively working to support our community, we are a full-service hospital that also provides low-cost spay and neuter procedures, plus weekly vaccine clinics. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an energetic and motivated Associate Veterinarian (both full- and part-time considered) to join our 1.5-doctor team.
At FVH, we are dedicated to our core values:
Integrity – uncompromising dedication to the practice of veterinary medicine
Compassion – mercy and kindness with difficult decisions
Success – we strive for a favorable outcome in every case, integrating medical, emotional and ethical considerations
Cooperation – all pets are a part of our clients’ family, which is why we treat them as such
Our ideal candidate would possess similar values with a desire to also serve our community. In addition to a collegial atmosphere and experienced support staff, we also boast a wide array of diagnostic tools and services. These include ultrasound, therapy laser, digital radiographs (including dental) and an in-house lab. We have also partnered with nearby specialists for secondary and tertiary referral.
We are proud to provide our Associates with a generous compensation and benefits package including:
Signing bonus up to $10,000
Competitive hourly/day rate
Medical, dental, and vision insurance (full-time only)
401(k) with employer match
Personal vacation, paid time off to attend CE, and paid sick leave
Sponsored AVMA PLIT
Annual CE stipend
Reimbursement of licensing fees and membership dues
To apply, please contact Dominic Widmer at firstname.lastname@example.org. All applications will be kept confidential.
About Folsom Veterinary Hospital
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
