Mixed Animal Associate Veterinarian in Hill Country

Associate Veterinarian needed for a privately owned mixed animal practice located in Blanco, Texas. We are a two doctor practice looking to add a third. Small animal only & mixed animal positions are available. Blanco Veterinary Clinic is located 40 miles from Austin and San Antonio right in the middle of the highly coveted Texas Hill Country. The town is quaint and quiet which allows our clinic to have a relaxed schedule. Our clinic has in-house Abaxis/Idexx CBC and Blood Chemistry machines, dental equipment, an updated surgical suite, digital radiography, Companion Cold Laser machine, and a brand new portable GE ultrasound equipped for large and small animals. Large animal facilities include: cattle chute & pens, equine stocks & stalls, camelid chute, and a large animal surgical suite. We also offer an in-house coggins laboratory for our equine clients. We offer ambulatory services to our large & small animal clients. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Rotating (every 3rd) 4 hr Saturday shift and rotate on-call emergency duty ($150-200 bonus compensation for each emergency call). You will have every Tuesday off, so weekly hours range from 32-36 hours worked per week. Competitive salary negotiable based off experience.
