| Full or part time associate veterinarian needed to join Cary Grove Animal Hospital. We are a fast growing, client oriented 4-doctor small animal hospital in Cary, Illinois (Northwest Chicago suburbs). We are a veterinarian owned private, NON corporate practice. We aren’t going to hound you for attaining quotas or production numbers or dictate how to practice medicine. Our philosophy is to simply practice the best medicine possible and the numbers will follow. Our full-service practice boasts a free-standing new facility that allows us to provide the best medical and surgical care to our patients in a great work environment. We are very well equipped with electronic medical records, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, 2 dentistry units, in house lab, TonoVet, ultrasound, Cardell surgical monitors, modern surgical and dental suites, Class 4 Therapy Laser, access to a traveling specialist that regularly visits our hospital, fully stocked pharmacy and more. We see a wide range of medical and surgical cases and value full case work ups. Our clients are well educated and want the best care for their pets. We focus on canine and feline patients but also see a small amount of rabbits and guinea pigs (optional for the new veterinarian). We have an established staff (many here since the practice was first started!) and foster a positive practice culture. Our team will support you and allow you to concentrate on being a doctor. Each doctor is assigned 2 technicians for the day and also has access to a treatment room technician and hospital assistant to aid them. Our typical appointments are 30 minutes long. We do NOT offer boarding or grooming in order to completely focus on medical, surgical and dental care for our patients. Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, confident in medical work ups, fun easy-going personality, and has excellent communication skills. We prefer a veterinarian with at least 1 year of clinical experience, but will consider exceptional new graduates. We support individual professional interests and would welcome someone wanting to bring new services and skills to our hospital as well as provide solid general medical and surgical care. All veterinarians in the practice enjoy collaborating on cases to help support each other and for best patient outcomes. No after-hours emergencies. Flexible full time hours ranging from 3.5-4 days per week + every other Saturday morning (8am-1pm). Hours however are flexible to part time options as well! Cary, Illinois is a Chicago suburb in McHenry County that is a great place to live and work.
