We are currently seeking a highly motivated Full Time Associate Veterinarian to join the Pet Medical Center of Springfield team! We are a fast-paced hospital and are searching for an individual who has the ability and drive to work independently and within a team environment. Pet Medical Center of Springfield is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital that has been providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care for our clients since 1982. We strive to exceed our clients' expectations by offering state-of-the-art veterinary medical care in a caring environment. We offer comprehensive physical exams, dental services, surgical care and digital x-ray. We also offer grooming, nutritional counseling, boarding and early morning drop off for our client's convenience! Our team has a strong partnership with clients built on clear, consistent communication and education. We have a very loyal following among our extended pet families throughout the community. We are a well-established practice with a diverse caseload. We practice quality medicine in a warm and friendly state of the art facility! Additionally, a very strong local economy allows for our clients to afford the very best veterinary care for their pets. The Associate Veterinarian is an integral member of the healthcare team. It is important that this candidate can communicate compassionately and effectively with clients so that all treatment options are presented, and he or she can work with the clients on making informed decisions about the care for their pet. This position will require working closely with the Client Care Team to continuously improve client communication and satisfaction. Providing consistent high quality medical care for our patients and outstanding client service is our top priority! Candidates must meet the following qualifications: · DVM or VMD degree · A current Virginia state license · Soft Tissue surgery and dentistry experience a plus We offer a very competitive salary, health insurance, 401k, vacation, dues & licensing, as well as uniform and continuing education allowance.
