NWGVEC is seeking three full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarians or Veterinarians to work in small animal emergency medicine focusing on high-quality, compassionate care. NWGVEC ‘s mission is to create a complete veterinary team through solid collaboration with our referring veterinarians to provide the highest level of patient care while giving excellent support to our clients and patients.
Licensed DVM or eligible for license in the state of Georgia. Emergency experience is preferred but not required.
3 openings. Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: • Lucrative salary or 21% of productions; whichever is greater.
• Signing Bonus – $30K (2yr commitment) $40K (3yr commitment)
• Basic Insurance plan paid at 100%
• 84 hours of vacation per year.
• For CE/Conventions, the Associate gets three paid days and $1,000 for registration/travel.
• $300 per year uniform allowance.
• After one year of employment, may have the ability to become a shareholder if shares are available.
• 38-hour workweek: the medical center is open nights 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM, weekends, and holidays. We offer flexible scheduling to allow for an excellent work/life balance.
NORTHWEST GEORGIA VETERINARY EMERGENCY CENTER
NWGVEC is a new (opened 2018) state-of-the-art Emergency Center housed in a 4,000 square-foot free-standing facility that is well-equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, multi-mode ultrasound, and a large surgical suite. NWGVEC is located within the triangular area between Atlanta, Birmingham, and Chattanooga and offers after-hours emergency care with the support of 17 referring clinics.
