The Animal Doctor in the beautiful coastal community of Ventura, California is waiting for you to join our team! We are an AAHA-accredited companion/family pet veterinary practice that has enjoyed our place in the community for over 25 years, offering outstanding medical care and services for our patients and clients. Our practice culture emphasizes patient advocacy, diagnostics, and evidence-based medicine, wellness services, and client compliance through education and trust-building relationships.

This is the perfect opportunity for a veterinarian that enjoys collaborating with others to achieve the common goal of treating our patients as if they were our own. Our new associate position is available for 4 and 1/2 days weekly, including 3 Saturdays/month. Hours are 9:00am-6:00pm weekdays, and Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm. We also have a great staff that manages all the non-doctor stuff so you can stay busy doing what you do best!

Our in-house lab, digital dental, and whole-body radiography, surgery, 3 exam rooms, digital records (Avimark), and a beautiful, free-standing facility make our hospital fun and easy to practice in. Our clients are great people and we love being their pet's health care providers. We enjoy the benefits of nearby specialty hospitals for referral and consultation with colleagues.
