Veterinary Associate needed for an established mixed animal practice in Middle Tennessee. Our practice has been in operation for over 35 years, and we are located roughly 40 miles west of Nashville, TN in Hickman County. Our practice is equipped with ultrasound, laser, digital radiology, in house laboratory and chemistries. Our mixed animal breakdown is approximately 85% small animal and 15% large animal. We do offer house and farm calls and have a fully equipped vet truck. Applicants must be able to do both large and small animal, as well as routine surgeries. This is a general practice that is open 5 days a week, with no weekend, emergency, or on-call hours! If your tired of long work hours and a poor work/life balance, we are your answer!

Applicant requirements include Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, and licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Tennessee. 

Ideal candidate is someone that is willing to work hard and loves veterinary medicine. Must be courteous to staff and clients and honestly do their best for each patient within the client's means. Must also be able to develop rapport with clients and be able to effectively communicate diagnosis and treatment plans, have respect for and a willingness to work with clients and their pets, have a positive and friendly attitude, and the ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
