-Assessing and examining patients and diagnosing their medical issues.
-performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, and prescribing medication.
-Promoting preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations, and by educating clients on positive diet and lifestyle choices for pets
-Educate the public about diseases and infections that are transferable from animal to humans
-Record actions by documenting and updating forms, reports, animal records, and reporting diseases to the public health officials
Dandridge Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice focusing primarily on dogs and cats. Currently we have two veterinarians and are actively seeking an associate veterinarian. We opened in May 2020 and are rapidly growing and currently have over 5000 patients. We have a full support staff of 1 licensed veterinary technician, 5 veterinary assistants (3 currently in school to acquire their license), 4 receptionists, an office manager and a practice manager. We offer routine medical and preventive medicine as well as soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures. There is a full line of in house IDEXX laboratory equipment along with DR digital radiology, and ultrasound. IDEXX reference laboratory is available for advanced diagnostic testing and consultation services. We are currently open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm and on Saturday morning from 9am-12pm. All after hour and weekend emergencies are seen by a local emergency clinic.
