Act as a senior leader to an established Emergency and Critical Care team! Come join and lead the ER team and be part of a 16,000 square foot state-of-the-art hospital at Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center located in beautiful Peoria, AZ. Our Emergency & Critical Care hospital offers three sister sites and serves the fast-growing Glendale, Goodyear, and Buckeye areas of Northwest Phoenix.

We are looking for a Medical Director to partner with the Hospital Director to cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment, ensuring we are delivering the highest quality care.
In addition, the Medical Director will partner with the Hospital Director to create a strong culture focused on innovation and continuous learning, as well as achieving our financial and operational objectives. We are passionate about servant leadership, leadership/communication training, culture building, having fun, providing autonomy, nurse/support staff retention, nurse/support staff growth paths, relationships with referring veterinarians and providing education and outreach.
The Medical Director will partner with the Hospital Director to participate in recruiting and interviewing Doctors and managing their performance. The Medical Director will provide oversight and direction of medical standards and quality of care, while ensuring all clients and patients are treated with exceptional compassion.
Continued learning at all levels is our passion. Intern lecture series and resident rounds are held every week with remote access. Cage-side rounds are in-depth and focus on definitive and total patient care.
