Our growing/thriving rural small animal general practice with a touch of day time urgent care on the VT/Quebec border is seeking the right veterinarian to join our team.  Full time preferred, but part time considered as well. We are privately owned and value our staff and docs equally with our clients and patients.  We work hard, but also believe in work-life balance and wellness. We will expect a “let’s start with yes” attitude that comes from respect for yourself, our staff, and the clients and patients we serve.  We like to laugh and joke, have been known to have the Dunkin Donuts fairy show up pretty regularly, and ask Echo to play us tunes in treatment everyday.  We practice high quality medicine, but respect client’s budgets by giving them options.  We provide wellness, illness, urgent care, behavior, soft tissue surgery and dentistry services.  What is your niche? We’re happy to add that as well if we aren’t already offering it. Vetopia is the concept, and while we strive for perfection, no one is perfect, so we hope you don’t expect that of us because we won’t expect it from you.  That is why they call it practice, right?  We do strive to do our best for the community and clients every day.   Our core values are integrity, motivation, empowerment, cleanliness, education, and compassion. 

We have Idexx in-house lab equipment, digital and dental radiology, and on premises cremation services.  We’re working on adding ultrasound in the near future. We practice the best veterinary medicine possible, and believe in continuing education and developing new skills for all staff and veterinarians.  We’re real and we’re looking for a real and reasonable human to join our close knit team.

Do you love the outdoors? Hiking, kayaking, and SUP in the summer; snow shoeing, skiing, and ice fishing in the winter.  Vermont is big on farm to table, local food, and environmentally friendly living.  You can’t beat our sunsets!  We are a two hour drive from Burlington, VT and Montreal, Quebec; and a four hour drive to Boston, MA, and the Maine/New Hampshire coast.  Fresh air is abundant!
