Unique Part-time Permanent Position for Experienced General Practitioner
Set hours. Less stress. Patient care-focused. Limited client interaction. Veterinary Neurology and Imaging of the Chesapeake, a privately-owned neurology/neurosurgery and advanced imaging practice in Towson (Baltimore), Maryland, is seeking an associate veterinarian to perform, oversee anesthesia of MRI/CT patients.
A part-time position 8am-6pm one day per week, covering other days during the week if our MRI doctor goes on leave.
The requirements: Ether completion of a small animal rotating internship or 3 years of clinical experience. Experience and strong interest in anesthesia.
The facility: We have a 1.5T MRI, on-site 128 slice CT, along with state-of-the-art anesthesia machines, a ventilator, monitoring equipment (ECG, ETCO2, SPO2, and blood pressure) and WAGs. We are located atop Luskin's Hill in Towson in the Pet+E.R./CVRC referral hospital, overlooking 695 with easy-on, easy-off access to the Baltimore Beltway, the Jones Falls Expressway, I-95 and downtown Baltimore. In less than 3 months, our entire referral center will be moving into a brand new facility housing multiple services including neurology, cardiology, surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology and emergency services.
Job overview: This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about veterinary medicine but maybe needs a break from daily client interaction. There is little to no client interaction in this role, and it is heavily focused on patient care.

We are a specialty neurology and imaging practice located within Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center, a hospital that offers multiple services including cardiology, surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology and emergency services, giving us exposure to many areas of veterinary medicine.
We provide a variety of services, including advanced imaging CT and MRI, cerebrospinal fluid collection and analysis, small animal neurological evaluations, spinal surgeries, brain surgeries, seizure disorder work up, rehabilitation, BAER testing and diagnosis of other neurological diseases.
