Bellwood Animal Hospital, in Rockford, IL, is seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our team. We are an established, multi-doctor full-service veterinary hospital serving companion pets and exotics.. The practice has a reputation for combining the highest quality veterinary care with exceptional client service in a modern facility that offers state-of-the-art treatments such as ultrasound, orthopedics, and digital imaging.  Veterinarians have a comfortable schedule, with a dedicated same day off each week and alternating week half-day Saturdays.  Remote access is available for veterinary staff.  Bellwood is a paper-lite practice, with medical records through AVImark software.  We have a dedicated and ample support staff team who is accustomed to handling many client communications.  There is no on-call or emergency required, as our local emergency hospital is located less than a mile away, with 24/7 care available.  Bellwood has proximity to UW Veterinary Care, as well as multiple private specialty hospitals, which allows for expertise when needed.

The experienced and long tenured staff creates a warm and supportive work environment dedicated to our doctors, patients and clients. Our doctors work collaboratively on cases to provide superior patient care.   This team-based approach makes for the ideal environment for new graduates, as it will also provide insight for the experienced veterinarian.  With a 6 doctor-team, this allows for a wide base of knowledge to adequately support our patients' needs.
