A Step Up Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full-time associate veterinarian to complement our team. We currently have three full time doctors with 13 support staff (support FTE to veterinary FTE of 4.3). We are a general practice primarily seeing dogs and cats, but we also have doctors who see pocket pets and exotics.  We are open to providing other specialties if any of our doctors have special interests.  Our practice values continued learning and we are always working together to make sure that our protocols reflect the most current research available.  We are a paperless practice and have electronic medical records (no paper files here!), a full suite of in house diagnostic machines including ultrasound (Versana Balance), digital cytology (Imagyst), SediVue urine analyzer along with full in-house IDEXX analyzers, digital radiography (DR and dental), and a therapeutic laser.

We are looking for a full time primarily small animal veterinarian. We do also periodically see a variety of exotics (rabbits, reptiles, and avian) so experience is a plus, but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply - all of our current full time doctors have been new graduates.

We are a full service small animal hospitals with in house labs, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental suite with digital radiography, digital cytology, full surgical suite with monitoring equipment, and a therapeutic laser. We have 10 well trained and effective LVTs / technicians. We are a fully paperless practice with 16+ workstations. We handle a wide array of medical and surgical cases. We are in close proximity to three referral centers in the greater Pittsburgh area.
