Associate veterinarian needed for a privately owned, well-established, well-equipped (all the essential accoutrements like ultrasound, digital radiography, in house lab equipment, dedicated dental suite, paperless medical records) busy, small animal practice located in southern Santa Clara County / San Francisco Bay area.  We strive for an atmosphere that promotes high-quality diagnostics and compassionate care, as well as, a positive, cohesive work environment.  Staff: Veterinarian ratio 3:1.  We are small enough that your ideas and input will be heard but large enough there will be another colleague available to be a sounding board, if needed.  We will provide plenty of mentorship/support if you are a new graduate or someone re-entering the profession.  We have an excellent location (and are undergoing a major remodel early 2023) in an area of rapid growth, close enough to advantages of living in Northern California—great weather, beaches, mountains, wine country, large metro areas for cultural events, airports and dining, without the disadvantages—endless traffic, scarce parking and ridiculously high cost of living.  Though to be fair depending on where you are from, most of the Bay Area has a high cost of living.  We are the most affordable area of the county that includes Palo Alto, Cupertino and San Jose.

What do we need from the ideal candidate?  We need a person with a balanced personal life, sound client communications skills, open rapport amongst colleagues, and a working knowledge of canine and feline medicine and surgery.  A sense of humor, decent work ethic, the proper dose of common sense and a valid California license are essential.  Experience preferred but will consider a motivated new graduate if you are the right fit for our practice culture.
