Practice Overview
Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned practice, and our goal is to provide high quality, compassionate and progressive veterinary care to our clients and patients. We place strong emphasis on preventive wellness medicine. Our facility is equipped with surgical suite and a large treatment area. We also have state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, which include digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, on-site ultrasound, access to endoscope specialist on site and class IV laser and acupuncture. Our team is composed of highly qualified and competent staff who loves to learn and support each other, which creates an atmosphere of warmth, cheerfulness, and care. This allows us to thrive in the workplace while exploring our own different niches.
What You’ll Be Working On
Build and maintain client relationships
Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of cases
Perform wide range of services and surgeries, including soft tissue surgeries, mass removal surgeries, surgical dental extractions, spay/neuter, and preventive medicine
Provide education to clients and staff on healthcare plans
Maintain a positive work environment
Participate in community activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Guide, utilize and mentor all-star support staff

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of California
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a Veterinarian preferred; Open to new graduates
Comfortable performing soft tissue surgeries and surgical dental extractions, mentorship available
Strong internal medicine background is a plus
Ability/Interest to do spay/neuter and mass removal surgeries preferred
Willingness to do cystotomies and enterotomies preferred
Interest in preventative medicine preferred
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
