Full-time Mobile Veterinarian based in Idaho Falls and serving surrounding areas in beautiful Teton Valley.We are looking for a Vet who is highly passionate, competent and experienced in veterinary medicine, with a strong background working with horses.Eastern Idaho and Western Montana and Wyoming are amazing places to live and work if you love the outdoors!It is known for world-class fly fishing, skiing, and horseback riding in some of the most magnificent country you will ever experience.With places like Jackson Hole and Yellowstone just outside your back door the adventures are never ending.
Location: Based In Idaho Falls.Teton Valley & Surrounding Areas.
Responsibilities:
Manage a free-standing mobile clinic
Create your own travel schedule with a typical 40 hour work week
Perform ranch/house calls Monday through Friday
Participate in emergency work as needed
See appointments chauffeured by a ride-along technician who assists procedures
Requirements:
Ability to work independently and responsibly in a mobile practice setting
High integrity, self-motivated and able to be accountable for a mobile clinic
Highly passionate, competent and experienced in veterinary medicine
Outgoing, articulate, accountable, reliable, presents warmly but professionally with clients
Passionate about horses and all animals large and small
Practice Overview:
Currently Equine-exclusive, serving all of Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming
Plans to expand into a mixed animal practice in the future
Intimate yet highly skilled practice working directly with the owner/founder
Schedules are planned and coordinated with colleagues
100% mobile practice
