About Us
We believe in serving the community and using our skills, knowledge, and experience to improve the lives of all that we encounter (we use our powers for good, not evil).
Our generously sized, privately owned, paper-lite practice is well-equipped with AviMark, Idexx in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and a therapy laser. We’re open to purchasing an ultrasound unit for a new associate. Our patients consist of dogs and cats with some pocket pets.
What does a day look like at Friendship?
At Friendship, we start welcoming clients and admitting their pets to the hospital at 7:30 am Monday-Friday, and appointments with veterinarians begin at 9:00 am. We value the prevention of disease and keeping care affordable by offering well-pet care plans. Scribes help keep records caught up and the doctors can focus more on... doctor things.
On surgery days we typically perform 3-5 surgeries. Procedures may include dentistry and spay. castration, mass excisions, and whatever soft tissue procedures come our way. We enjoy surgery! C-sections, gastropexy, splenectomy, laparotomy, whatever- we love them all! When we have orthopedics, we have a boarded traveling surgeon come in. We also have a traveling service provide ultrasounds for our patients (if you have an interest in ultrasound- let's talk!).
Relax in the team breakroom for lunch- we have a full kitchen and a sofa. We break from 12-2 every day. Or take a walk at lunch- there is a Greenway right up the road!
We enjoy seeing a variety of cases and providing urgent care, so we accept emergencies when we can.
Our work day ends at 6:00 pm and we are usually out the door on time! We are open one Saturday a month for the convenience of pet owners that cannot make weekday appointment times.
