Fox Run is an independently owned small animal hospital that provides exceptional veterinary care using state-of-the-art technology, well-maintained equipment, and the most current and effective medical procedures. We are team oriented and provide on-going training and feedback to our support staff to ensure they provide efficient assistance to our veterinarians, exceptional medical and surgical care to our patients, and up-to-date education to their owners. Our reputation for excellence has resulted in a steadily expanding clientele so we are seeking an associate veterinarian to join our team, which currently consists of 1 doctor, 4 technicians, 2 receptionists, 3 assistants and a dedicated practice manager. Dr. Findora is known for training and educating her staff and will mentor a new graduate with a passion for the veterinarian profession.
We are located in an affluent, rural area known for horse enthusiasts. Although Fox Run is named in honor of our horse-handling neighbors, we treat small animals, pocket pets, and some exotics. Our schedule is designed to offer urgent care for our area and our intent is to increase this much-needed service along with providing customary medical care and patient education.
The associate veterinarian salary is designed to reward excellence. The base salary for this position is $100,000 per annum with the ability to earn that much or more in production-based bonuses with no negative accrual. A skilled, motivated physician can expect to earn $150,000-200,000/annum in the first year of employment. Benefits include 3 weeks of vacation, employer subsidized health/dental insurance and retirement, as well as professional dues/licensing/continuing education reimbursement. We also offer a 4-day workweek with no weekends, after-hour or on-call assignments.
