Description
Practice general veterinary medicine in the heart of Silicon Valley with 30 minute appointments, collaborative colleagues, RVTs and a strong support staff. Advise on the diagnostic tests required and diagnose a problem accurately. Listen actively. Present the available treatment options clearly. Offer the best medicine available for disease prevention and management to clients. See patients for urgent and emergency care, along with your general medicine cases. Maintain proper medical records, and write clear medical orders for the professional staff that supports you.
Qualifications
* Current California State Veterinary (DVM) License
* Demonstrate a wide basis of knowledge in medical, surgical and dental care.
* Proficiency across modern veterinary practice, including wellness, advanced diagnostics, treatment plans, prescriptions, and electronic record keeping.
* Communication skills and professional demeanor that ensure clients understand the health status and the options available to make the best decision for their family. Management skills that ensure colleagues understand your treatment objectives, instructions, and medical notes.
* Work habits to self-start, multi-task and pay attention to detail, independently and on a team.
