Hardin Valley Animal Hospital is situated in the growing community of Hardin Valley in West Knoxville, Tennessee. We are seeking a skilled practitioner and leader with advanced surgical, dental, and general medicine experience. You will help lead the entire veterinary team on a day-to-day basis. While working together with the Management Team and owners to ensure HVAH continues to stay current and implement the latest evidence-based medicine. You will be a mentor and teacher that can maintain hospital flow, with the ability to have a work-life balance that is contagious and inspiring to others. This is a full-time role that will incorporate a combination of practitioner responsibilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide gold standard patient and client care
• Support our Fear Free certified requirements
• Provide medical and surgical services
• Maintain a regular schedule of appointments and surgical services to our patients
• Mentor colleagues and Support Team members
• Assist with creating/revising hospital SOP’s
• Address client concerns
• Work with the owners and Management Team to ensure the hospital is well functioning
• Have a collaborative mindset
