Job Requirements:

• 5 years of experience preferred
• Texas Licensure
• Currently has federal DEA licenses or is eligible to obtain upon hire
• Proficiency in internal medicine, diagnostics, and preventive care
• General surgery and general dentistry are preferred, but not required
• Computer-savvy and familiar with veterinary practice management systems (PMS)
• Strong communicator, who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
• An ethical person who possesses positive emotional intelligence skills, including the ability to coach, correct, develop, and motivate employees
• A leader who can provide the oversight necessary to ensure that the practice’s standard of care adheres to current, nationally accepted medical standards and guidelines for the practice of veterinary medicine
• Able to take responsibility for the financial performance of the hospital including revenue and hospital growth, inclusive of managing hospital expenses and monitoring key financial reports
