Knoxville Pet Emergency Clinic, located in Knoxville TN, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. All experience levels are welcome to apply. Our clinic would provide an excellent environment for veterinarians interested in practicing the highest level of medicine and surgery. Our doctors all have varied interests, which we highly encourage and support. 

About our clinic: Knoxville Pet Emergency Clinic is an overnight and weekend emergency clinic offering the gold standard in medical and surgical care. We take pride in being the place people bring their pets when other practices are closed, and we strive to provide high-quality emergency veterinary care for cats and dogs in the greater Knoxville area.  

Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasound. Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care.  

Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries. All our patients undergoing anesthesia have per-op lab work and receive an IV catheter, IV fluids, and are carefully monitored and recovered by our skilled surgical technicians. 

Our practice is open Monday to Thursday 7 pm to7 am, Friday 12 am to 7 am, and 24 hours on the weekends. We have an hour for lunch, and have generous time reserved for writing medical records and for client communication.

About Knoxville: We are located just outside of downtown Knoxville off I40W - This makes Knoxville Pet Emergency Clinic a breeze to get to. Be at Gatlinburg or the Great Smokey Mountains in less than 2 hours, or if you like college football, the Vol's play every Saturday in fall. Knoxville is a growing town that is filled with excellent schools and parks. The Veterinary Community in Knoxville is filled with associations and The University of Tennessee CVM is right down the road and offers unlimited CE events!  

Qualifications: 

• Tennessee Veterinarian – active and in good standing 
• All Experience levels considered 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
