We’re growing! Pet Partners Animal Clinic in Sussex, WI is seeking a Veterinarian to join our thriving team! We are a full-service animal hospital providing high quality care to dogs and cats. Our two-doctor team is supported by an experienced, tight knit, and collaborative team. We strive to maintain a team atmosphere, for us that means that everyone contributes in the care of our patients and our clients feel they have interacted with all of us. Our wonderful clients and the fantastic PPAC team work very well together to provide outstanding compassionate patient care. We are also heavily involved with local rescue groups including Elmbrook Humane Society, Wisconsin Humane Society, The Labrador Connection, White Paw German Shepherd Rescue, and many more. Our modern practice is less than 6 years old and is equipped with new modern equipment, including digital x-rays and digital dental x-rays. We offer next day turnaround IDEXX labs, separate rooms for dogs and cats, and a knowledgeable support team including 3 LVTs. Our doctors enjoy working in a well-maintained, updated facility with a great work-life balance. We are proud to offer a flexible schedule with no on-call or after hour requirements, and are open to someone seeking full-time or part-time hours.

All experience levels are welcome! New grads can expect first-rate mentorship and support from our knowledgeable doctors and staff. We strive for a team atmosphere where everyone pitches in to ensure each visit is as successful as possible.  

Our Approach to Mentorship

For new grads who join our team, we invest our time to ensure you get the support, time, and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:

• Structured orientation and tailored mentorship program, including 1-on-1 surgical training and an available mentor at all times.
• Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.
• New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.
• Slack group discussions to connect you with experienced vets for case reviews, connection, and advice.

Where We’re Located

The village of Sussex is a suburb of Milwaukee, in the Waukesha County, and is considered one of the best places to live in Wisconsin. There are many museums to visit, as well as lakes and trails (16 parks and facilities!) to explore. Golfers can take their pick of three local courses. Downtown Sussex shows off maintained historical architecture and is home to new retail and commercial businesses.
